The Riviera is a popular spot for hosting conventions and special groups, including a number of billiards and chess tournaments. It has nearly 4000 rooms and a casino of over 100,000 square feet, where you surely find many casino bonuses . It also features the only RV park on the Las Vegas strip. Circus Circus was opened in 1968 by casino pioneer Jay Sarno, and has been renovated throughout the years, most notably in 1997 when the circus theme was switched from an American circus theme to a Cirque du Soleil type theme. If you're looking for a hotel rich in Las Vegas history but with affordable room rates, the Flamingo is it. The Flamingo is the third hotel ever built on the Las Vegas strip and opened way back in 1946. The project cost six million dollars, an unheard of sum at the time, and was founded in part by famous gangster Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel. Although the hotel was not an immediate success, it has proven to have great staying power, and is one of the few hotels to survive the modernization of the Las Vegas strip and the proliferation of billion dollar “superhotels.” The Flamingo features performers such as Donny and Marie Osmond and George Wallace, and is across the street from Caesar's Palace and the Mirage.

Visitors can get to any Las Vegas strip hotel by cab in minutes. The hotel is a Tropicana property and was originally built in 1973 as a Howard Johnson's motel. In 2004, Hooters took over the property, upgraded the casino and installed the second largest Hooters restaurant in the entire world. |
