Eric Jannersten started Bridgetidningen, the world's second oldest bridge magazine (after The Bridge World) in 1939 and published nine textbooks on both biding and play. Linked to the publishing house was, and is, a bridge academy, Bridgeakademin, which has taught the game to more than 200,000 pupils.
